Get started with Raspberry Pi – an inexpensive, pocket-sized computer. Beloved by hobbyists and experts alike, Raspberry Pi’s are used to build robots and retro arcades or can even act as your own PC. In this 2-hour introductory workshop, learn how to set up a Pi alongside our experienced Labs educators. We’ll teach you how to run your first few Python scripts before sending you off to build more Pi projects at home. Raspberry Pi is a great tool for students 12+ years looking for an approachable way to go beyond block-based coding into text-based programming. Basic knowledge of algebra is required.
