Inner City Blues Band

Inner City Blues Band is a group of talented professionals who have an extensive resume as individuals, and collectively, a high energy blues, R&B band. They have opened for such Legends as the Bobby Blue Bland, Johnny Taylor, Little Milton, Bobby Womack, and Buckwheat Zydeco. The Inner City Blues Band is a tight unit who treats R&B as tenderly as a newborn baby and pounds out hard blues with clarity and jackhammer strength.

Leon Robinson (Drums) toured for 9 years stint with Buckwheat Zydeco, Mike Roberts (Saxophone) toured with Rick James & The Stone City Band, Nick Sonye (Guitar) preformed with Jazz greats Jimmy Smith, Art Blakely, Eddie “Clean Head” Vinson, and Lady Nikki Scott (Lead Vocals) possesses a powerful voice that compliments her heroines, Etta James, Aretha Franklin & KoKo Taylor. The members of this group are seasoned professionals that come together for supreme sound and ultimate impact.
