Event Description

Join us this Winter for our Indigenous Storytelling Series!

Stay cozy inside the 1846 Fort while our storyteller shares captivating tales in the Indigenous storytelling tradition.

You will learn the importance of the relationship between culture, Indigenous storytelling, and oral history. Each session will have curated stories for the season. The topic of this series will incorporate different elements, teachings, and lessons that can only be told in the winter months in many Indigenous cultures.

Following the story-telling session, we encourage you to visit the Indigenous Peoples Experience.

Please note this experience is a specialty ticket bundle available for purchase for adults that includes admission and the Storytelling Series program. This experience cannot be purchased separately from general admission. All proceeds from this program directly support Indigenous programming at Fort Edmonton Park.
