Hype Night

On September 30th, the Monarca Chapter of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity Inc will be hosting its 6th annual Hype Night Step and Stroll Show. Since the fall of 2006 Hype Night has been a growing success at Montclair State University, and has been known as the main event for the campus during the fall semester. Organization, leadership, cooperation, communication, dedication and teamwork are the keys to the success of the show. Looking at the logistics you will see that the show has grown in attendance, location, performances, and sponsorships.

Hype Night 6 is predicted to have over 1,000 people in attendance this year! The ratio of males to females is almost even and a large majority range from the ages of 18-24 years old. Montclair State is known to be one of the fastest growing universities in the tri-state and the second largest school in New Jersey. Montclair State is also known to be one of the most diverse universities in the northeast with various cultures, religions, spoken languages, races, and socio-economic backgrounds. Hype Night 6 reaches out to leadership organizations on campus and gains plenty of support from the various clubs, athletic teams, and student organizations. Incoming freshman are large in attendance to gain interest in what goes on at Montclair State and explore the possibilities of becoming a part of something great.
