Holiday Mansion Tours, November 27th- December 29th, 2023

Experience Lyndhurst Mansion transformed into an extravagant wonderland of holiday splendor. Described as one of the “Ten Best Historic Holiday Tours” by USA Today, Lyndhurst goes all-out during the holiday season, filling the mansion with elaborate tableaus that change every year. Dozens of Christmas trees are expertly decorated and designed to complement the elegant period furnishings within the rooms of the house. During this month, our curators choose rarely seen items belonging to Lyndhurst’s former residents for a once-a-year opportunity to highlight many glittering possessions usually tucked away in our archives.

Hour-long tours are offered between 10 am and 3 pm, Thursdays through Tuesdays, and visit the two main two floors of the Mansion. 

Holiday Mansion Tours discuss history, architecture, and art, and may not be entertaining to young children. Families are encouraged to attend our  Roam-on-your-Own Weekend's, where visitors can walk through the Mansion without a guided tour.

EVENT ENTRY begins promptly at the designated time. Please arrive 20 minutes before the entry time printed on your ticket in order to have time to park and check-in at the Welcome Center.
