History Uncorked: TOYS

History Uncorked:TOYS, presented by BNY Mellon, is Pittsburgh’s premier party for young professionals. Now in its 18^th year, this event annually attracts nearly 2,000 visitors.  Chairs Nicholas and Kelly Kennedy, along with the History Uncorked Committee and the History Center, invite attendees to enjoy an evening of fun and discovery with dancing, great food and beverages from local Pittsburgh restaurants, a silent auction, activities, and live entertainment, all while exploring the History Center’s exhibitions and networking with their peers.

History Uncorked:TOYS will feature a playful, nostalgic and exciting theme celebrating iconic toys from our childhoods, in anticipation of the upcoming TOYS of the ‘50s ‘60s & ‘70s exhibition debuting in March 2016 here at the History Center. Think everything from slinkies and arcade games, to Twister & troll dolls, Barbie and Ken, Star Wars and Mr. Potato Head (plus so much more)!

History Uncorked:TOYS is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 from 7-11 p.m. (VIP from 6-7 p.m.).

Guests are encouraged to come dressed in theme – as their favorite toy or in cocktail attire. Tickets will be on sale beginning 9AM on Wednesday, December 23, 2015, with online sales ending at 10pm on February 19, 2016.

Ford at agford@heinzhistorycenter.org.  History Uncorked is an annual fundraising event whose proceeds support the educational programs and services of the Heinz History Center. Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. Guests must arrive before 10:15pm on February 19, 2016 to be granted admission into the museum for the event. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis and may be sold out once capacity is reached. All guests must be 21 or older to enter, and will be asked for identification at the door.
