Join us for our new Great American Music concert series celebrating a variety of artists and styles. The setting is casual, the art is amazing, and the sounds are inspiring. Each concert will include a cash bar (beer, wine, soft drinks and a specialty cocktail) and a casual experience surrounded by great art. Perfect date night, or just come as you are and make new friends!
Founded in 2005 by trombonist Kevin M. McManus, The Bone Forum is a Pittsburgh-based jazz trombone ensemble composed of five trombones and rhythm section. The groups repertoire draws extensively from the literature of the big bands and spotlights the music of Stan Kenton, Maynard Ferguson, Woody Herman, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Buddy Rich and Charles Mingus.
Composed of the top commercial players in Western, PA, tenor trombonists include: Kevin McManus, Bob Matchett, Mark Snyder and Kevin Clark. Bass trombonist Chris Carson holds down the low end while the rhythm section features Tom Glovier (piano), Bob Insko (bass) and Dr. Dave Glover (drums).
