Grace Theisen wsg Annie Bacon

Grace Theisen is an award-winning songwriter and Americana artist from Kalamazoo, Michigan. She was recently named “Artist To Watch” by Local Spins media and was nominated as one of the “Top 10 Bands Heating Up The Summer” by Revue Magazine in 2022. She recently released her 3rd EP, Dance With The Shadows. From that EP, the Down To The River Official Music Video won Best Americana Video & The Audience Choice Award at the 2022 Michigan Music Video Awards. Her music video for Master of Fire was nominated as a finalist in the Toronto Women's Film Fest. Blissfest attendees will recognize Grace’s percussionist, Carolyn Koebel.

With her OSHEN she merges a literary writing style and folk-rock Americana sound to create rich and emotionally complex music. She also composed a Folk Opera, has written a forthcoming novel on themes of motherhood & war, is currently collaborating on an original full-length musical called The Keeper, and lends her talents through the Midwest as a harmony singer both live and in studio.
