Goat Rodeo Cheese Tasting & Tour

You've seen it in stores, now come to the farm to see how it's made!

Goat Rodeo Farm & Dairy is a 130-acre family-owned farm located in northern Allegheny County. With a herd of more than 100 alpine and nubian dairy goats and cow’s milk sourced from area farms, they make a variety of award-winning fresh and aged cheeses using traditional techniques for artisan cheese production.

The owners have set up a special tour and tasting event for us, and of course, we're bringing wine to pair with an amazing selection of fresh-from-the-farm cheeses! We'll take a tour of the goat barn and milk house, and peek in at the creamery before tasting a selection of four cheeses and four perfectly paired wines. Goat Rodeo owner Steve Loevner will discuss each cheese, and Deb will discuss the wines.

We'll be in a farm setting, but not to worry - there will be tables and chairs, plates, napkins and glasses all set up for us. Don't miss this rare chance to see a working local farm, taste fresh cheeses and sip some delicious wines while hearing from the experts. Did we mention there are some really cute goats?
