Genre Intensive Improv Class: Dave Moore (WED)

What’s a meet cute? How about a harbinger of doom? And what the heck IS film noir anyways? Let’s give your genre scene work the tropes it deserves! An excellent class for indie-team beginners and seasoned performers alike. This class is open to all who have taken a basic scene work class (Level 2 or equivalent) before.

Genres we will likely cover: Westerns, Horror, RomComs, Noir, Dystopian, Fantasy, and possibly more!

This class will be offered:

• Weekly on Wednesday, July 10 - August 21; 8 weeks. (7 classes and a Showcase on Wednesday, August 22, 2024) 7:00pm-9:30pm

YOUR INSTRUCTOR: DAVE MOORE!

 Dave took his first improv class in 2017 because he wanted to do something fun and scary. He quickly realized that improv provided so much more, and has dedicated himself to learning, playing and teaching every chance he gets. He started playing at Curious Comedy in 2022 and has been a member of the Gauntlet ensemble. He will willingly hop into any improv group if invited, but can usually be seen playing with the indie team, Julius Polonius, and the silent group, Score!. Dave 100% believes that improv can fix humanity, and is excited to help others discover, and find their voice in this art-form.

  As of 10/1/22 - At this time we are not requiring proof of vaccination or masks to attend our shows and events. We strongly encourage those who can get vaccinated to do so for your safety and the safety of others. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so.
