Discover the intersections of dress, disability, and politics within Kahlo’s artistic practice through presentations by Circe Henestrosa, curator of Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up at the V&A London, and Gannit Ankori, Professor of Fine Arts at Brandeis University. Following their presentations, Henestrosa and Ankori are joined by Catherine Morris, Sackler Senior Curator for the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art, for a conversation about the organizing of Frida Kahlo: Appearances Can Be Deceiving at the Brooklyn Museum.
