Join us for this session the chamber's "Food for Thought" Lunch-and-Learn series. The session will focus on supervision and leadership, giving you a brief-but-useful overview of supervisory skills and techniques that will help you in your work, whether you're the owner of a small business, a manager in a large corporation or a sole proprietor.
In this 45-minute seminar, Professor Gerald Ferguson from CCAC's Allegheny Campus Business Department, will present an overview of fundamental supervisory skills and techniques that will help you develop your business: effective communications, motivating staff, leading meetings efficiently, delegating effectively, managing your time, and facilitating change within your organization.
There will also be information and a discussion of the Certificate of Supervision that has been developed by CCAC with input from chamber members.
Lunch is provided. Cost is $20 for chamber members, $30 for non-members.
