Lake Junaluska, Stuart Auditorium is the setting for Folkmoot's 2019 closing performance. A beautiful and meaningful expression of international goodwill and the bonds that have been built during the festival, the Closing includes a presentation of flags, performances by all participating cultures, the "Circassian Circle" dance and a moving candlelight procession of groups through the audience. The Candlelight Closing is perhaps the most enthusiastic, heartfelt show of Folkmoot.
