Friday Night Community Fish Fry
FREE event for the entire family.
Friday, Nov. 25 5:30 – 9:30 pm Stock Island Marina Village
A time-honored island tradition, the Friday night community fish fry celebrates the catch of the day with locals and travelers shoulder to shoulder at colorful picnic tables. Bring your appetite and your dancing shoes for a variety of reasonably priced fresh seafood, local BBQ and Cuban-influenced cuisine and great live music. There will be beer by Shipyard and rum punch by Key West Distilling along with lots of kid’s activities. Bahama Village Social Club plays reggae, island music and soul that puts a smile on your face and gets you up on your feet. BV Social Club blends interesting backgrounds musically and geographically. The result is a fun
experience that’s full of surprises. The members are Craig Jolly, who hails from Detroit; Hugh Fenton, who is from Montego Bay, Jamaica; Willy Jean-Paul from the island of Haiti; Tyler Smith, who is from Chicago and is the steel pan director at Gerald Adams Elementary School.
When and If Deck Tours 7-9 pm. Located on the docks at Stock Island Marina Village, we invite you to stop over and explore the historic Vessel When and If, originally was built in 1939 for General George Patton. She is beautifully restored and open to the public for the first time. Come hear the story of the boat and it's quest to sail around the world. FREE
