50 Greatest Pittsburghers of All Time

In January, Pittsburgh Magazine will forego our usual “Pittsburgher of the Year” issue and instead celebrate the 50 Greatest Pittsburghers of All Time. This first-ever ranked list will comprise people who over the course of more than two centuries have had the greatest impact on our city.

The “50” has a double meaning: It celebrates Pittsburgh Magazine’s 50th year of publishing (1969-2019). The magazine is hosting a reception honoring 50 Greatest Pittsburghers of All Time presented by UPMC Health Plan on Jan. 14 at the Champions Club at Heinz Field from 5:30 to 8 p.m. You are invited to mingle with some of Pittsburgh’s most interesting and influential people over appetizers and cocktails.
