Rivers of Steel Arts (RoSA) presents this exciting family friendly event highlighting all HOT art making processes throughout the day from 12-8pm. The festival features booths dedicated to glass flame-working, ceramics, molten lava, bronze casting and cast iron! Visitors can expect a day filled with live music, local eats, HOT art and COOL treats!  HANDS ON WORKSHOPS start at just $5 and food for purchase by local vendors.

Get your workshop tickets and tours in advance and SHOW UP EARLY because workshop items can sell out quickly!

One-ticket Workshops:

Kids Zone 
Create your own HOT crayon encaustic artwork or fun craft with the kids.
Glass Mosaics 
Work with Pittsburgh Glass Center to design a colorful glass mosiac!

Two-Ticket Workshops:

Raku Fire Ceramics 
Glaze your own clay object and watch as Ton Pottery fires your design in their Raku Furnace!
Iron or Aluminum Scratch Blocks
Have your own unique design cast in solid iron or aluminum!
Mini-Tours of the Carrie Furnaces
Explore and learn about the site with one of our experiences tour guides.

(Please note that the Bring a Mold workshop is $35 and requires a pre-made sand mold ready for casting)
