Some people build fences to keep people out - and other people build fences to keep people in.

Based on the acclaimed Broadway play by Pittsburgh native August Wilson, this powerhouse film stars Denzel Washington and Viola Davis as Troy and Rose Maxson. Set in and filmed in Pittsburgh, this story follows the struggles and triumphs of the Maxson's in the 1950s Hill District. Can they overcome their burdens and give something better to the next generation?
