Feel All the Feelings: Dramatic Acting for Improvisers

This class will help you explore the full emotional spectrum, from heartbreak to joy, fear to fury, using exercises designed to strengthen your emotional access, physical expression, and scene work. You’ll learn to ground your characters in genuine stakes, respond with honesty, and create compelling, dramatic moments—without losing the spontaneity and playfulness of improv.

Whether you want to add more emotional range to your comedic scenes or dive into the world of dramatic long-form, this class will push you to connect more deeply with your scene partners, your characters, and yourself.

This class will be offered:

• Weekly on Monday, March 10 - April 21, 2025; 8 weeks. (7 classes and a Showcase on Saturday, April 26) 7:00pm-9:30pm

YOUR INSTRUCTOR: Nick Medina

Nick Medina (he/him) is a performer, director, and educator, with two decades of stage experience behind him. Initially a classically trained actor, he discovered improv through Curious Comedy's amazing Training Center, and never looked back. He brings high energy, analytical focus, and passion to all his classes. In addition to his work at Curious, he teaches drama at a local elementary school, directs High Schoolers in musicals and Shakespeare, and raises money for good causes as a Benefit Auctioneer.

  As of 10/1/22 - At this time we are not requiring proof of vaccination or masks to attend our shows and events. We strongly encourage those who can get vaccinated to do so for your safety and the safety of others. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, we encourage you to do so. Many of our staff are still choosing to wear masks, so it's likely you will not be the only one in a mask. We support you taking whatever precautions feel right to you!
