“...vivacious Arabian flamenco jazz.” – Rolling Stone
Singer Farah Siraj fuses influences of Arabic music, flamenco, jazz, bossa nova, and pop, earning her a place as one of New York’s “Summer Stars of Jazz” in 2011 and the nickname “the Norah Jones of the Middle East” by Time Out New York. Farah has performed on some of the world’s most prestigious platforms, including the United Nations, Nobel Prize Hall, World Economic Forum, the John F. Kennedy Center, and Lincoln Center. In addition, as musical ambassadress, Farah represents Jordan at the annual United Nations World Peace Day. With her diverse ensemble of world-class musicians (oud, guitar, bass, and percussion) from Southwest Asia, Europe, the United States and South America, Farah approaches music as a medium for peace and a way to amplify the voices of people around the world who need to be heard.
