FALLING FACE FIRST
Clocks running down, Laughs time running up. The desk is full, but he is slumped. Many variations of him are trying to wake him up, with no success. Could your voice be the one that helps him move to finishing the work on his desk?
Join us for Falling Face First an interactive theater piece, where you help Laugh find the music and poetry that’s been missing from his work life, to keep him motivated. Could your story be the one needed to help him find the lines that’s been missing?
Be part of an audience that gets to sip wine, write, and eat snacks while stepping beyond the boundaries of traditional theater. Beginning with a pre-show guided conversation, Laugh asks the audience to be willing to share the experiences they have had pursuing their goals in life.
Falling Face First aims to foster an inclusive stage for both performer and audience. This work-in-development encourages active participation, encouraging attendees to write and share their dreams, engage in thoughtful discussions, and collectively explore the evolution of their aspirations over time.
About the Artist:

A graduate of Central Connecticut State University, an Ensemble member of HartBeat Ensemble and an Educator at the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts (HD), he only wants to learn and expand what he has to offer other creative communities.
