The New Jersey tenor, Michael Fabiano, still only 33 years old, is indisputably a star.  Already this season, he has had top billing in London and San Francisco, and he will shortly be coming home to the Metropolitan Opera to star in "La Boheme" and "Lucia di Lammermoor".  On January 21 he will be the guest of Music in the Somerset Hills in a magnificent home on one the great estates of our area, where he will present a recital designed to showcase this voice that has already taken the opera world by storm. 

Deeply committed to his music career, Michael is also passionate about the furtherance of music education and education in general, especially for children and teens from poor and underserved homes. He is the founder of ArtSmart, a not-for-profit organization he created specifically to confront these problems.  As part of the afternoon, he will discuss these issues with the audience. The proceeds from the recital will equally benefit Music in the Somerset Hills and Art Smart. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
