Experience Programs - Our Past, My Story

Fort Edmonton Park is excited to offer educational group programs designed for summer camps, daycares, community groups and other similar youth groups looking to combine educational content with their Park visit!

Start your visit with guided, hands-on learning then spend the rest of the day exploring the Park's historic streets, midway rides and games and getting involved with other on-site programming. 

Create a fun day out with the perfect blend of learning and play. 

Our Past, My Story: (ages 6-8) 90-minute program

Program Times:10:30 am - 12:00 pm or 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm

What did your community look like 100 years ago? How do you think your family would have lived? Explore what a kid’s everyday life was like in Edmonton back in time. Learn with your classmates about how people lived, ate, and played while using your own ideas for discovery.

Ask questions and compare what your life is now with a kid in 1885. Maybe they aren’t so different after all!
