Música en tus Manos
Dolce Suono Ensemble & AMLA (Artístas y Músicos Latinoamericanos)
Hailed as “an adventurous ensemble” (The New York Times) and “One of the most dynamic groups in the US” (The Huffington Post), the Dolce Suono Ensemble will spotlight chamber music by Latino composers, featuring works by Joaquín Turina, Charles Abramovic, Samuel Zyman; boleros by Ernesto Lecuona, María Grever, and Consuelo Velázquez arranged by Gabriel Globus-Hoenich; Brazilian choros by Pixiniguinha, Waldir Acevedo, and Jacob do Bandolin; songs by Puerto Rican composers Myrta Silva and Rafael Hernández; and a world première by Daniel de Jesús for a side-by-side performance with AMLA students.
