With the help of Yondr bags, we at the Comedy Store create phone-free spaces for artists and comedians.
What that means: Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and smart watches are placed in Yondr cases and will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of these items at all times. Guests may also access their phones at any time only in the designated Phone Use Areas throughout the venue. All phones will be re-secured upon returning to the event space.
Anyone seen using a device during the performance in a non-designated area will be escorted out of the venue by security. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.

Deric Poston is a comedian who got his start in Memphis TN, and San Diego. He now performs regularly at the comedy mothership in Austin Tx. He regularly opens for comedians Joe Rogan and Ron white. He has done Full tours around the world with Andrew Schulz performing in major theaters and Arenas. He also has done the Hit podcasts The Joe Rogan Experience, Flagrant, And Kill Tony. He is hilarious. It is what it is. The dude is by far one of the best rising comedians today.
His podcast partner Ehsan Ahmad also opens for some of the biggest names in comedy like Joe Rogan, Tony Hinchcliffe and Duncan Trussell. A former door guy here at the comedy store in La Jolla, every time he returns he absolutely rocks this stage
