Unquestionably one of the premiere percussionists on the planet, Cyro Baptista’s new project, CHAMA, takes the audience on a surrealistic voyage around the world. Cyro is a frequent collaborator both on stage and in the studio with the likes of Paul Simon, Herbie Hancock, Yo-Yo Ma, Trey Anastasio, John Zorn, Laurie Anderson, Cassandra Wilson, Sting, the New York Philharmonic, the Kennedy Center Orchestra, Wynton Marsalis, Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, and more.
