Bye Bye Birdie

Teen hearthrob and rock and roll star Conrad Birdie has been drafted into the army. Millions of teenage girls across the country are left in despair. On the eve of his departue, Birdie is scheduled to sing "One Last Kiss" and kiss one lucky girl of his choosing live on the Ed Sullivan Show. The lives of a teenagers and adults are about to change in Sweet Apple, Ohio as Conrad's hip-thrusting makes more than one man in the small town uncomfortable. 

From composer Charles Strouse, this musical-comedy features a hilarious script, and was inspired by the phenomenon of Elvis Presley's draft notice into the Army.
