This essential document to 60’s counter culture explores the beauty and danger of being a free spirit in a closed system. Randle McMurphy charms his way onto a psych ward thinking it's surely the easy way to serve out a six-month prison term. There he encounters Nurse Ratched, a disciplined and extremely focused agent of authority. Randle uses his charisma and humor to breathe life into the ward and lead the other patients into open rebellion. But McMurphy's revolution against Nurse Ratched and everything she stands for quickly turns from sport to a fierce power struggle—with shattering results.

PARKING INFO

On-street parking is available at no cost after 6pm, Monday-Saturday and all day Sunday.

Paid parking is available in the Allegheny Health Network garage for evening events and weekend matinees.

To Find The Garage

• Drive past the theater and follow Allegheny Square East as if you were going back out onto East Commons


• The Allegheny Health Network garage will be on your left


• Pull in and a uniformed parking attendant will collect your fee Parking in the garage is $7 (cash only)


• NOTE: The lot will close one hour after the show 

(If there is a Pirate Game the lot has reserved spots at the $7 rate, if you show your ticket or say you are seeing the show.)
