Welcome to the Renaissance, where the Black Plague has given way to Puritans, and the hottest trend is farthingales and codpieces. The biggest name in England is playwright William Shakespeare, and brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are struggling to keep their theater company alive. Desperate to outshine Shakespeare, Nick consults a soothsayer, who predicts that the future of theater will involve acting, singing, and dancing—all at once!
