Spend your Memorial Day Weekend in the mountains as we kick-off the summer with our Country Music Concert featuring live music from The Hillbilly Way, Ruff Creek and Frank Vieira on Sunday, May 28, 2017!

The Hillbilly Way

The Hillbilly Way is comprised of band-members, Chris "Abby" Abbondanza (lead vocalist), Jeff Volek (bass), David "Junior" Guthrie (lead guitar), and Keith Kleinhampl (drums).  Abbondanza, Volek, and Guthrie are original members of the nearly legendary, local favorite and nationally recognized Povertyneck Hillbillies who parted ways in 2008.

Since reforming as The Hillbilly Way with a reunion concert in 2012, the group’s deep rooted country grit sound has received praise by multiple local outlets, including being named one of the “Best Breakout Music Acts in Pittsburgh” by Pittsburgh’s KDKA. 

The popular Tri-State area group released a self-titled EP “The Hillbilly Way,” shortly after their reunion and followed it with the release a full-length album “Just Go With It,” this past November through RHS Records.

Ruff Creek : Festival Opener

With a style all their own, Ruff Creek has become one of Pittsburgh’s most sought after country rock bands, headlining in popular bars and clubs throughout Western Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia, as well as opening for national artists such as Blake Shelton, Gary Alan, Craig Morgan, Travis Tritt, Trace Adkins, Phil Vasser, Lonestar, Diamond Rio, Sara Evans, Dwight Yoakum and The Charlie Daniels Band. With a jam packed schedule Ruff Creek captures the rhythm of the music with a steady sound and electric energy.

Frank Vieira : Opening Act

It's hard to tell whether Frank Vieira found country music, or whether country found him, but there's no denying it's a perfect fit. You can hear the passion in his voice and see it in his face when he performs...from the heartfelt, "I’m Right Here," to the Friday night anthem, "Fill it Up." Frank's sophomore EP set to release in June reflects an impressive maturity as a songwriter and performer.

Concert Rules & Restrictions

• Concert attendees are welcome to bring blankets or camp chairs to sit on while enjoying the music.


• The concert will be held rain or shine.


• Coolers, food, beverages (including water), backpacks, duffel bags, weapons and pets are not permitted
