Join the MJCCA and Neranenah for a night of laughter with a purpose at Comedy for Peace (CFP)! No politics. No judgment. Just lots of laughs.


CFP brings the best Jewish, Christian, and Muslim stand-up comedians together for an inspiring and unforgettable evening of laughter. The comedy troupe embraces tolerance and unity, and proves that we can make a difference in the world, using humor to foster understanding and harmony.


ABOUT THE COMEDIANS


ERIK ANGEL


An Israeli-Jewish comedian and the founder/producer of the Comedy for Peace. Born and raised in Israel, he moved to New York a few years ago. Since then, he has been performing all around the world--Carolines on Broadway, the Laugh Factory in L.A., and many other significant venues all over the US. He has opened for major headliners including Max Jobrani, he regularly tours Europe, and performed in Israel and Tokyo. He's been seen on NBC, and has more than 3M views on TikTok. His comedy is surprising, clever, high-energy, and deals with being a recent immigrant, fortyish, a newlywed, Judaism, and that he speaks English-Falafel 24/7.


TEHRAN VON GHASRI


With a diverse contrasting background of Black, Persian, Muslum and Jewish, street smarts and educated, Tehran brings a fresh, unique perspective to comedy and humor. As seen on Comedy Central, HBO, and Fox. When he is not in a tour in the US or around the world, he performs regularly in the Laugh Factory in L.A.


STEVE MARSHALL


New York based Jewish American comedia, actor, and writer. Born and raised in Brooklyn, he became a wild, unique, energetic and smart performer, with 30 years' experience in the biggest clubs in the city, and tours regularly throughout the United States.


ZARA KHAN


Zara Khan is a Pakistani-American, Muslim, L.A.-based comedian, actor, writer, and public speaker. In her work, she shares her experiences as a single, Muslim woman battling challenges like discrimination, dating and trying to win Burqini competitions. She has a Masters in Social Work and seeks to shatter sterotypes in her comedy. She performs regularly all around the U.S.
