Shelby & Mustang Car Exhibit
Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Marque
Schenley Park - July 20 & 21, 2019
All Ford powered Shelby vehicles and Mustangs are being honored as the PVGP’s Marque of the Year. Owners will park on the feature fairway at the Bob O’Connor Golf Course in Schenley Park. Watch the vintage races through the streets, enjoy picnic type atmosphere, browse the new car and vendor displays and dine at the various food tents. Take a parade lap of the track on Sunday during the opening ceremonies. Your deductible donation includes admission to International Car Show & Vintage Races on both Saturday and Sunday. Main gate at Schenley Drive and Forbes Avenue intersection opens at 9:30 AM and cars are displayed until 5:00 PM. There is no cost to enter and watch the races in Schenley Park – the $65 cost is per car to park in the show.
There are 10 days of Shelby activities. For the first time on the East coast, the Shelby American Automobile Club and Team Shelby are combining forces to stage their annual convention during the Historics at Pitt Race on July 12-13. Shelbys and Mustangs will be featured at all Race Week events including the Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala, the Downtown Parade, Tune-Up at Heinz Field and a Jet Center Party.
You can pay at the gate on the day of event but price increases $5 to $70. Single day discounts are not available. On-line registration closes at 11:30 PM July 18.
