Brother Noland is legendary in Hawaii and famous as an innovator, taking traditional songs and personalizing them. His fascinating stage stories are entertaining and reveal Hawaiian culture. His smash hit song, now 40 years old, is Coconut Girl. Regarded as the father of Jawaiian music in Hawaii, he nonetheless performs largely traditional songs at our Slack Key Show. The ohana musicians light up on stage when Jamming with Brother Noland!
George Kahumoku Jr hosts the show and performs from his vast array of traditional Hawaiian songs. Peter D co-hosts with some ukulele wizardry. Max, Sterling, & JJ join into the jam session. Plus the lovely Wainani dances some hula.
