Brooklyn-based artist KAWS joins Eugenie Tsai, John and Barbara Vogelstein Senior Curator, Contemporary Art, for an intimate look at the inspiration and process behind the artworks in our special exhibition KAWS: WHAT PARTY. KAWS discusses his wide-ranging practice, from his early days of graffiti writing in the streets of New York and Jersey City and to the development of the characters that populate his paintings, large-scale sculptures, and beloved collectibles.
