Self-Guided School & Camp Group Visits 

Please use the calendar to select the day and time slot for your visit.

• Children’s groups from pre-K through high school may visit free of charge by advance registration only.


• Registration slots are limited. Groups may arrive between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., 12 and 2 p.m., or 2 and 4 p.m. (Late-afternoon entry is not available November–February.) The group may stay until the Garden closes.


• Up to 100 tickets can be booked per order. Groups may include up to 90 students and should have one adult for every 10 students.


• Note that if you are offered fewer tickets, it is because the time slot you have selected is almost booked up and only has the offered number of spaces available.


• Each reservation must be made under the name of the group’s teacher or chaperone.


• Each child and adult must have a reserved ticket for entrance.

School Lunch Area

An outdoor picnic lunch area is open exclusively for school and camp groups, weather permitting, Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., from the first week of April through mid-November. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note the Garden does not have facilities to store lunches for visiting classes.
