Event Description

Admission to Brooklyn Botanic Garden is by advance ticket. 



  • All visitors including children and members must have an advance ticket to enter.

  • To preserve social distancing, ticket quantities are limited.

  • Visitors will select a specific entrance gate and may enter any time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

  • Member, Corporate Member, and Affiliated Organization ticketholders must present valid ID with their free ticket on entry. See below for details.

  • The Garden will release new blocks of tickets two weeks in advance of visit dates.


Some types of tickets may sell out before others; thank you for your patience. If you reserve tickets that you cannot use, please cancel your order so that another might use them.


General Admission Tickets



  • Adults: $18

  • Students (12+ with ID): $12

  • Seniors (65+ with ID): $12

  • Children under 12 attending with an adult: Free


Winter Weekdays: Pay What You Can
On winter weekdays from December through February, name your price for admission. Please support the Garden by paying what you can.


Community Tickets
For individuals facing financial hardship, a portion of each day’s tickets are available free of charge. Please note: Community tickets are not intended for school groups. For information about free reservations for a school group, please contact Registration at 718-623-7220.


Member Tickets
Each member needs their own ticket to gain entry to the Garden.



  • BBG members: Use Membership Login (above) to unlock ticket options. Your username is your main membership email. Select date, then click "Get Tickets»" to see your options.

  • New members: Purchase a bundle offer to join today and receive free tickets.

  • Academic & Library members: Reserve an “Affiliated Organization” ticket and show valid ID with your ticket at the gate. Corporate members: See below.


Please note: Member guest passes will not be accepted at the entry gate for the remainder of 2020; all visitors must have a ticket. Individual and Dual level members can book a guest ticket when reserving (subject to availability).


Affiliated Organization Tickets
Free tickets are available to the following BBG partners with valid ID or voucher:



  • BBG Academic members: 1 ticket with school ID

  • BBG Library members: Up to 2 adult tickets with library’s BBG membership card

  • Chase Arts & Culture cardholders: 1 ticket with NYC card

  • Members of AHS RAP gardens: Up to 2 tickets with membership card

  • Individual members of AHS, APGA, Museums Council: Up to 2 tickets with membership card

  • Culture Pass: up to 2 tickets with reserved Culture Pass

  • New York Pass/New York Explorer Pass: 1 ticket per passholder

  • BASE: 1 ticket with BASE ID or 1 family with BASE family pass

  • Cool Culture: Up to 5 tickets with Cool Culture card

  • PGR: 1 family with PGR pass

  • GAP: Up to 2 tickets with BBG ID

  • BBG Complimentary Admission passholders: 1 ticket with redeemed pass

  • BBG Education program passholders: 1 ticket with confirmation email

  • Brooklyn Cultural Institution staff: Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, Grand Army Plaza Library, Prospect Park Zoo, up to 2 tickets with staff ID

  • BBG staff (on personal time): Up to 6 tickets with BBG ID

  • BBG volunteers: Up to 2 tickets with BBG ID

  • Reserve a free Child ticket for each child under 12 attending with Affiliated Organization ticketholders.


Corporate Member Tickets
Current employees of corporate members are admitted with 1 guest during public hours. Employees of Con Edison, National Grid, Orange Utilities, Rockland Utilities, and Stavros Niarchos Foundation are admitted with up to 5 guests. See bbg.org/support/corporate for list.


Note: During our phased reopening, we are unable to accommodate the following:



  • Group visits: Including tourism and senior groups

  • Tourism Passholders: City Sightseeing, Go City Hub, and NYC Sightseeing


Entrance Locations
The Garden has three entrances:



  • 150 Eastern Parkway

  • 990 Washington Avenue

  • 455 Flatbush Avenue
     


All visitors must present ticket for entrance. Children under 12 accompanied by ticket-holding adult must have a free Child ticket. Members with free tickets must also present membership card or confirmation email plus photo ID to enter. Affiliated Organization ticketholders must present program ID with free ticket to enter. All children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. No-show tickets are nonrefundable. If you are feeling ill, please reschedule your visit.
