The Harold Sessions Trio harkens back to the Electric Country Blues of the 1950s. Their unique free style is edgy, unpredictable , unpolished and strangely authentic. 13 bars, Hill country, Third Ward. Obscure. No West Coast Blues here.
The band consists of Ronnie James Weber on bass and vocals, Larry Carr on drums, and Greg Roberts on guitar and vocals. Stories with deep rhythms depicting life on the edge of town for dancers that want to let their hair down .
[*There is no Harold--Their name derives from the legendary 1954 Lightnin Hopkins sessions for NYC's Herald Records.]
