The Blacktie & Tailpipes Gala opens Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Race Week in formal style! Join us at the Carnegie Museum for this fabulous party! This is a must for any auto enthusiast who enjoys fine cars, dining, dancing and great company, all for the benefit of charity.


Enjoy a 4-course dinner in the resplendent Music Hall - the grandest event space in the city. Stroll through the Carnegie Museum where live marbles statues and entertainment set the stage for an evening of enjoyment and participate in a museum scavenger hunt. Silent Auction and Live Auction offerings you don't want to miss.


Evening's Schedule



  • 6:30 pm:     Cocktails & Appetizers within car show at rear entrance 

  • 6:30 pm:     Silent Auction opens

  • 6:30 pm       Hall of Sculpture and Architecture open

  • 7:30 pm       Music Hall Foyer opens

  • 8:00 pm:     Opening Remarks by WTAE’s Andrew Stockey

  • 8:30 pm:      Dinner served

  • 9-11 pm:      Live Auction, Dessert & Dancing to No Bad JuJu



This event is a black-tie dress code. For the ladies; evening gowns or cocktail dresses, tuxedo or black suit for men.


There will be a special display of Lexus Luxury Automobiles at the Carnegie Museum - afterall, they belong in a museum!
