Event Description

Turtle River State Park is excited to host this camp as part of our summer series of Adventure Camps, which focus on environmental education and outdoor recreational skills.
What makes a bird a bird? Why can most birds fly? We will dive into all things birds and creating some flying crafts of our own in this fun-filled and interactive day camp.
Registration for the Adventure Camps opens May 1 at 9am. The cost is $35/participant per day; participants must be the described age at the time of camp. Participants can register for multiple camps within the summer series as different activities are planned for most camps. Class sizes are limited so it is highly recommended to register promptly.
This camp starts at 9am; campers should be dropped off at the main office no earlier than 8:45am and picked up at the playground at 2pm.
To maximize their experience campers should dress for conditions, bring a water bottle, and wear bug spray and sunscreen. Lunch and snacks are provided. If your participant has food allergies, please inform staff no later 10 days prior to your camp date.
The day concludes with supervised play time at the Turtle River State Park playground.
