Q. How does the Big Gay Bar Crawl work?
You show up in your favorite Pride/Rainbow gear with your best friends and tickets in hand. We’ll get you registered, and the party will begin. You will be joined by many others as we stop at 6 Bars.
Q. Do I have to follow a specific route?
Yes, we have work with each bar to provide a unique experience for our participates. Once you check in you are welcome to go to as many bars on the route as you will like at the designated times.
Q. I can’t find my confirmation email – can I still get in without my tickets?
Yes, no worries! As long as you purchased a ticket, our staff can look you up at registration by the name or email you used to purchase.
Q. I purchased a ticket but can no longer attend the event. What do I do?
The tickets are non-refundable.
Q. I’m a designated driver. Do I need a ticket?
No, you’re doing your friends a solid, so we want to make things as hassle-free as possible. Instead of purchasing a ticket ahead of time, identify yourself as the designated driver when your crew gets to registration. We’ll give you a free wristband in a different color, so bartenders know you won’t be drinking.
Q. Are the bars LGBT?
No, but they are all inclusive to everyone and are supporters of Boston Pride.
Making a Difference
All money raised will be directly donated to the Boston Pride Community fund. The Boston Pride Community Fund was established in 2015 and is currently funded via the JP and Back Bay Block Parties, the High Heel Dash. In addition, Boston Pride commits 10% of all sponsorship dollars towards the Community Fund. Once a year, in support of our vision and mission, we will give back monies raised in our Community Fund to non-profit organizations and grassroots groups that are doing work within our community with an eye towards smaller organizations, new/innovative programs, and intersectional proposals.
