The Bernard Purdie Tour 2024 Concert

The legendary Bernard Purdie has been called the "World's Best Drummer." On May 27, he will be performing a concert along with the Jim Kohler Blues Band to end his festive family day of music and camaraderie. This event will start with a free children's drumming workshop from 4:00  to 5:00 appropriate for all ages. Then at 5:30, a very special Meet and Greet is being planned to give the community an opportunity to talk with the legend. Location will be announced shortly. The day will culminate with the Bernard Purdie concert along with the Jim Kohler Blues Band at 7:00 PM. Come hear this "Hall of Fame" drummer who has the distinction of being one of the most recorded session drummers in music history. He is the creator of the "Purdie Shuffle," was the host drummer for the Beatles, and proudly served as Aretha Franklin's musical director for five years. Legendary, indeed!
