Brew: The Museum of Beer presents Beer in WWII at the West Overton Distillery Museum, in conjunction with the traveling exhibition, We Can Do It! WWII, the 500-square foot exhibit created by the Senator John Heinz History Center.
The Beer in WWII exhibit presents:
- the remarkable story of how beer went to war
- the post-Prohibition “redemption” of beer through some of the first national advertising campaigns
- the challenges of putting out more beer with many employees away at war
- amazing ways that beer made it to the troops
- how the war changed beer for decades to come.
Admission includes two complimentary adult drinks and light hors d'oeuvres. Wear your favorite 1940s clothes (or not).
