Anime Expo 2025 Masquerade

The AX Masquerade is Anime Expo’s longest-running and most prestigious cosplay competition, where talented cosplayers will now take the Main Events stage at Peacock Theater to compete for incredible prizes and the coveted Best in Show title.

For over 25 years, this event has showcased breathtaking craftsmanship and performance, judged by esteemed cosplay experts. In 2024, the panel featured Regan from Cowbutt Crunchies Cosplay, Panterona Cosplay, and Tim Harrison of Harrison Designs and Concepts, along with former Takarazuka Revue members Urara Reimi and Hiroki Nanami.

Adding to the excitement, the AX Masquerade will also feature a thrilling halftime performance, delivering high-energy entertainment while judges deliberate.

Ticketing Policies

• You must have both an Anime Expo attendee badge valid for the day of the event (Saturday or any 4-day) and a ticket to see this event.  If you need to purchase a badge, please go to AX Registration now.


• Check-in begins 1 hour before the start of the event and will end promptly at 10 pm, 1 hour after doors close. There will be priority entry for attendees with an ADA sticker so please arrive 15 mins prior to start of check-in to avoid the crowd.


• If you want to upgrade your ticket to a seat closer to the stage, please email: events@anime-expo.org.
