Athens Harvest Festival

We are beyond excited to announce that the Athens Harvest Festival is officially back for its second year at Lake Snowden and with a much anticipated move to Labor Day Weekend!

  With nationally touring Bluegrass acts and a focus on Appalachian life and agriculture, this Athens-rooted celebration is set to become THE Labor Day destination spot for the Tri-State area and beyond!

The Annual Athens County Labor Day Spectacular will be held September 1-4, 2017, and will feature:

- A Sunday Regional Farmers’ Market

 - National, regional and local Bluegrass music

- Large Scale Grand Finale FIREWORKS!! (Sunday 8pm)

- The Athens Harvest Festival Community Kitchen (serving local food from local farmers and suppliers!)

- Our wildly popular CASH PRIZE contests: Cob Gobblin', Apple Bobbin', Pie Eatin', and more TBA!

- Amazing Kids’ Center and Activities

- Pig Roast

- Local Craft Brews

- Craft Vendors

- The Great Pyramid of Athens - Hay Stack!
