The Fire Island Pines pool party is a sacred tradition, and this one does not disappoint. Gabriel Manzon and Tony D'Angelo present the 7th edition of AQUA, once again benefiting The Water Project and the Ali Forney Center. Expect a hot crowd, great energy, big beats, and dripping wet Fun!

The Music:

Dan Darlington (New York)
Dan loves music. LOVE IT. All of it. He loves rhythm, he loves melody, he loves dynamics. Music has influenced Dan his entire life. There is nothing he loves more than to see recognition in someone’s face when a song they love starts playing, except maybe if they start to dance. Dan began making mix tapes for his friends at an early age. Out of college he hit the circuit scene, becoming obsessed with the latest house music and feeling the drive to to go to every party. One thing led to another, and voi la!

Dan has been spinning for almost 15 years. He is currently a resident DJ of Brüt, along with Peter Napoli, and has played at events/for organizations including Alegria Pride NYC, MavenNYC, Lookbooks.com, Ford Models, the NYC Gay and Lesbian Center and Metro Bears among many, many, many others.

Gabe Manzon (New York)
DJ Gabe Manzon is a NJ native with an ear for the best house music has to offer. His taste in music has been influenced by legendary DJ's Junior Vasquez, Frankie Knuckles, Tom Stephan, Chocolate Puma & Todd Terry, just to name a few. Here is what to expect from his set: Happy house music. Old-school, new-school, hot vocals, pop-infused tracks with a booty shaking latin flare!

Gabe is a proud resident of the Pines who believes it is his responsibility to continue in the role of charity work: “We must continue in the long tradition of giving back to the community as our LGBTQ brothers and sisters have done so graciously in the past.” Gabe's goal with AQUA is to deliver a quintessential Fire Island Pool Dance Party while bringing awareness & helping the LGBTQ Community, as well as people around the world without clean water.
