Angst: Raising Awareness Around Anxiety 

Triumphant Love Lutheran Church Youth Group is pleased to present Angst, a newly released documentary that shines a bright light on anxiety and offers resources, tools and hope. 

Anxiety disorders are the most common mental health challenge in the U.S., impacting 54% of females and 46% of males, according to the World Health Organization.   In other words, about half of us are currently struggling with anxiety. 

The beauty of Angst is that children and young adults featured are openly talking about their experiences with anxiety and other mental health challenges.   For some of them, it's the first time they are publicly sharing their stories.   As part of this global conversation, the film helps people to identify and understand the symptoms and to learn from others who have anxiety.  It also encourages people to reach out for help.

Angst includes discussions with mental health experts about the causes of anxiety and its sociological effects, as well as help, resources and tools.   After the film, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in additional Q&A dialogue and discussions with local mental heath specialists.

Recommended for adults, parents, teens, and children ages 10+.   Seating is limited, advance ticket purchase recommended.

Tickets: $10/adult, $5/student, $15/person at the door if not sold out.

Doors open at 4:00PM,  screening will begin at 4:30PM.   Film is about 1 hour, followed by a moderated Q&A Discussion lead by mental health experts/professionals.  Snacks will be available for purchase.
