After the galleries have closed to the public, join an exclusive tour of the exhibition From the Collection: 1960–1969. Global political upheaval in the 1960s paralleled drastic artistic change. As artists of the 1960s experienced injustice, conflict, and empowerment their work was inevitably affected, and their art often served as an act of protest. An engaging art historian will walk you through some of these momentous works.
A limited number of tickets ($75; $65 MoMA members and employees of Corporate Members) are available online. The tour is an hour long. For more information, please contact groupservices@moma.org or (212) 708-9685.
