This four week long course, hosted by Jayashree Iyengar owner of Popping Mustard Seeds, will teach you the basics of Indian Cuisine. You will not only get to prepare and eat all of her delicious recipes, she will also teach you about the ingredients you are using, and where you can get them. Each week will consist of preparing an appetizer, a grain ( rice, quinoa, couscous, bread), a saucy vegetable dish, a dry vegetable dish, and a yogurt/salad dish. At the end of each class you will get to sit and enjoy the meal you have just prepared, and you will also be armed with the recipes to make for your friends & family. BYOB- The Pittsburgh Public Market does have a winery, a brewery, and a kombucha bar to stock up at before class!
