The Tomfoolery Show

The Orpheum Theatre is excited about producing a new fundraising event with The Tomfoolery Show.  Tomfoolery is going to be a completely unique theatre experience, and a fun, lighthearted, interactive way to celebrate the close of the Red Carpet season.  The Orpheum Theatre Ensemble of players will put together a melodramatic play, to which its actors will portray stereotypical theatre characters— and will not be shy about overacting.  This is where the fun begins: in the lobby of the theatre, there will be plush tomatoes for sale by the basket that the audience is encouraged to purchase— and THROW at the ACTORS!  Any audience member that does not like what they see onstage is expected to show it by hocking their fake red fruits at the stage, and watch in glee as the actors do their best not to be hit in the midst of all the tomfoolery!  Attendees can expect to have a riotously great time with their fellow audience members as they watch some of their talented and favorite community actors take the stage once again, as well as perhaps a few cameos from local celebrities!  This messy event is sure to make an impression and garner an excited audience that will surely attend at the end of every season.

TICKETS ARE GENERAL ADMISSION - no reserved seating.

Audience members wishing to view the show but not participate in the throwing may sit in the Mezzanine.
