A Premier Food Event

Benefiting the Kidney Foundation of Greater Chattanooga

Taste made its debut in 2010 as a new and inspired format of what was previously known as Taste of Chattanooga. Now an even more important fundraiser for the Kidney Foundation of Chattanooga, Taste prides itself on showcasing a variety of cuisine from locally owned and operated Chattanooga restaurants and eateries. For a $35 ticket, participants are entitled to a full evening of free samplings from 20-25 of Chattanooga's best restaurants, plus one drink ticket for beer or wine. A full bar with mixed drinks will also be offered.

A highlight of Taste is a cooking demo by some of Chattanooga’s top chefs, who will feature a live demonstration of a recipe using ingredients from a fresh pantry provided by Whole Foods. Sampling of these dishes will also be offered to attendees. 

Whereas the main focus of the event will be on food and local restaurants, additional elements of Chattanooga culture will elevate the experience of the night as a whole.

Music by two local groups will set the tone, beginning with a relaxed ambiance and then building in energy as the evening progresses. Strolling models featuring fashions from Chattanooga boutiques will also add to the fun.

Local media personalities will emcee the event, engaging attendees and the chefs themselves with questions and providing lively commentary. 

Great food of all types, interaction with chefs, music, fashion and socializing create a full evening of entertainment at Taste that will support the great local work of the Kidney Foundation. We hope you can be a part of it.
