Event Description
NOW THE LARGEST ARTISAN SPIRITS SHOW IN THE UNITED STATES!!!
The Oregon Distillers Guild will be holding a public spirits tasting showcasing local and national craft spirits on Saturday April 28th and Sunday 29th, 2012 at the World Trade Center in SW Portland. This will be an opportunity to taste the incredible variety of craft spirits being produced in Oregon and around the country, all in one location. Distillers and owners will be on hand to pour samples and answer questions. There will be an estimated 40 distilleries pouring.
The Oregon Bartenders Guild will be on hand, mixing and pouring samples of cocktails featuring local spirits. This will allow show attendees to experience how some of the spirits being tasted at TOAST, can be used in actual cocktails. As the bartenders mix their drinks, they will also be discussing the how’s and why’s of the techniques they are using, making this an opportunity for the public to learn about the art and skills involved in mixing cocktails.
